Apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9cennie et demie de croissance acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e entre 1999 et 2014, au cours de laquelle la croissance sur le continent a \u00e9t\u00e9 en moyenne de 5 % par an et la pauvret\u00e9 a diminu\u00e9 de <a href=\"https:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/indicator\/SI.POV.DDAY?end=2019&amp;locations=ZG&amp;start=1998\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">57 % \u00e0 38 %<\/a>, la croissance s&#8217;est essouffl\u00e9e et les niveaux de PIB par habitant <a href=\"https:\/\/openknowledge.worldbank.org\/entities\/publication\/d08686b6-36bd-47da-bcfd-fd4ef2d0a728\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00e9taient plus bas en 2022 qu&#8217;en 2014<\/a>, ce qui fait craindre une nouvelle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/en\/news\/press-release\/2023\/10\/04\/to-avert-a-lost-decade-africa-must-urgently-achieve-stability-increase-growth-and-create-jobs\">d\u00e9cennie perdue<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 ce ralentissement de la croissance, la r\u00e9duction de la pauvret\u00e9 s&#8217;est affaiblie.
